Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • Tortilla chips for serving

    Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a medium bowl.

    Add lime juice and mash with a fork until somewhat smooth but still chunky.
